There is a whole market for Healthy Snacks

The British company Nim’s has found a favorable reaction among British consumers to a new product, dehydrated fruit made via a process which removes a greater amount of moisture resulting in fruit flakes. According Nimisha Raja, founder of the company, “this new presentation is more convenient for consumers because it eliminating the traditional stickiness and mess of dried fruit which you used to get with some packages“, said Raja.

Currently, the fruits in this presentation are sold in boxes that have combinations of pineapples, mangos, strawberries, apples and oranges and as Raja said, the most important thing now is to continue promoting the product and ensure the supply of fruit, which mostly come from the EU except for pineapples from Costa Rica and mangos from Brazil. The entire dehydration process is performed in Hungary.

Nim’s is attempting to cover new markets with this product range, offering something more healthy for snack seekers who also want something that is easy to consume and high quality.

Another advantage of the product is that the dehydration process does not require that the fruit be peeled or stoned, and so produces less waste.
